2026 Entry Form

Entry is free but we require you to register your solar car or boat before the event to include it in our race schedule. This doesn’t need to be done before you start building but please download, fill out and return the below form by no later than Thursday Nov 6 for the cars and Friday Nov 21 for the boats. Schools can use the same form for multiple entries if you’re able to clearly define separate car/boat teams from one another and detail the division they’re in.

Event Media Policy

Race day for the 2026 car event will be open to a public audience and welcomes along family members, friends, sponsors, media news crews and other interested spectators from the wider community.

By entering the 2026 Challenge, students and their and parent/guardian accept that they may photographed and/or filmed by the TMSC and any other parties/individuals at the event. This may later appear in published material such as event social media, newsletters, websites, televised broadcasts, etc.

Any student or parent/guardian of a child NOT wishing to grant such permission must fill out and return the following form but understand that this only applies to any material that the TMSC has control over. The TMSC cannot prevent the release of any photographs or video footage taken by other parties/individuals at an event.
